Bilingual brand identity project for Public Health Wales’ online mental health self-help course Activate Your Life.
Public Health Wales commissioned me to design a friendly and inclusive brand identity for the course, to be used throughout the course materials and in their advertising.
Since it’s a mental health course which naturally involves self-reflection, the brand is inspired by journaling practices. It uses loose lines, dots and simple doodle-style illustrations. It also features hand-drawn coloured lines used to underline or highlight important content, as someone might do in their personal copy of a self-help book. The brand’s typography is friendly and open, which when paired with the soft imagery and warm colour palette, come together to create an uplifting and cheerful brand identity.
